ベースクロックとともにPCIバスのクロックが上がることで、グラフィック関
係の結果の向上が見られると予想していましたが、どのベンチマークでも誤差と
思われる程度の差で、如実に効果が現れたのはHDのキャッシュ使用時の結果のみ
でした。しかし、体感速度は結構違うので、それなりの効果はあるのだと思いま
す。また、以前EDOで83MHzにしたときはすぐに不安定になったのに対し、SD-RAM
では今のところ特に問題なく動作しています。これから66MHzより高いベースク
ロックを設定できるMBがどれくらい増えるかわかりませんが、やはりSD-RAMは高
ベースクロックで初めて真価を発揮するだろうということを改めて実感しまし
た。
